# Clipster Help Centre > Clipster is a platform where brands pay creators for the views their short-form videos earn. Brands launch campaigns with a budget and content guidelines. Creators join a campaign, post a video on their own TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X account, and submit the post link to Clipster. Clipster tracks the post's views and pays the creator from the campaign budget according to the campaign's pay terms. Earnings collect in the creator's Clipster balance and can be withdrawn. This document is the Clipster creator help centre, grouped into sections. ## Getting started ### How does Clipster work? Clipster connects creators with brands. You post content for a brand's campaign, submit the post link, and earn money for the views it gets while the campaign runs. After the campaign ends and the posts are reviewed, the money goes to your Clipster balance, and you can withdraw it. ## Step by step 1. **Sign up and link your accounts.** Create your account and link your TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube with **Link Account**. See [How do I set up my account and link my socials?](../getting-started/how-do-i-set-up-my-account-and-link-my-socials). 2. **Find a campaign.** Browse [Discover](https://app.clipster.gg/discover) and open a campaign to see its rate, rules, and requirements. See [How do campaigns work?](../campaigns-and-rules/how-do-campaigns-work). 3. **Read the rules.** Every campaign has its own brief. Some rules apply to all campaigns. See [What rules does every clip need to follow?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-rules-does-every-clip-need-to-follow) and [What do logo and music campaigns require?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-do-logo-and-music-campaigns-require). 4. **Post and submit.** Publish your video on a linked account, then click **Submit Content** and paste the link within 24 hours. See [How do I submit a clip, and what counts as a valid post?](../submissions-and-views/how-do-i-submit-a-clip-and-what-counts-as-a-valid-post). 5. **Views are tracked.** While the campaign runs, Clipster updates your post's views every few hours. Only views gained after you submit count. 6. **Review.** Posts are checked against the campaign rules. If a post is rejected, you see the reason. See [Why was my clip rejected?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-clip-rejected). 7. **The campaign ends and is paid out.** Your earnings go to your balance, usually about 1 week after the campaign ends. See [When do I get paid?](../earnings-and-payouts/when-do-i-get-paid). 8. **Withdraw.** Once your balance is at least \$50, withdraw it by PayPal, Visa Prepaid Card, Amazon Gift Card, USDT, or bank transfer. See [How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees?](../earnings-and-payouts/how-do-i-withdraw-my-earnings-and-what-are-the-fees). 9. **Keep your posts up.** Paid posts must stay public for 30 days after payout. See [What happens if my post is deleted, removed or goes offline?](../submissions-and-views/what-happens-if-my-post-is-deleted-removed-or-goes-offline). ## Who is Clipster for? All kinds of creators, from football and gaming content to UGC and streamer clips. There is no general minimum follower count. Some campaigns set their own requirements. ## How much can I earn? It depends on the campaign. Each campaign has its own budget and rate. There is no limit to how much you can earn across several campaigns. As your lifetime earnings grow, you unlock rank perks. See [What are ranks, and what perks do I get?](../earnings-and-payouts/what-are-ranks-and-what-perks-do-i-get). ## The rules to remember - Submit within **24 hours** of posting. - Only views **after you submit** count. - A post can only be in **one campaign**. - Keep the post and its stats **public**. - Views and engagement must be **organic**. No bots, ads, or engagement groups. - Keep paid posts up for **30 days after payout**. ## Where to find things | What | Website | App | | --- | --- | --- | | Campaigns | [Discover](https://www.clipster.gg/discover) | Discover | | Your campaigns and submissions | [My Activity](https://www.clipster.gg/activity/campaigns) | Activity | | Balance, withdrawals, transactions | [My Balance](https://www.clipster.gg/earnings) | Balance | | Referrals | [Invite & Earn](https://www.clipster.gg/earnings/referrals) | Profile → Referrals | | Linked accounts, login methods, delete account | Avatar → Settings | Profile → Connected accounts / Login methods / Delete | | Support | [Support](https://discord.gg/jANSrfvg2x) | Profile → Support | ### How do I set up my account and link my socials? Sign up at [clipster.gg](https://www.clipster.gg/) with your email, then link your social media accounts with **Link Account**. Clipster verifies your accounts directly through the platform, so you just sign in to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube and allow Clipster to connect. ## Who can join? - There is no general minimum follower count. Some campaigns set their own requirements, such as followers or audience. Check the campaign details. - Clipster does not block creators based on their country. Payouts depend on which payment methods work in your country. See [How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees?](../earnings-and-payouts/how-do-i-withdraw-my-earnings-and-what-are-the-fees). - Using a VPN is allowed. It does not affect your account. ## First steps 1. Create your account at [clipster.gg](https://www.clipster.gg/). 2. Link at least one social media account (see below). 3. Connect your Discord in **Login Methods** (see below). You need it to open support tickets and to get messages from the Clipster Bot. 4. Browse campaigns in [Discover](https://app.clipster.gg/discover). You choose how you get paid when you withdraw. You don't need to set it up in advance. ## Linking social media accounts **On the website:** click your avatar → **Settings** → **Connected Accounts**, then **Link Account**. **In the app:** **Profile** → **Connected accounts** → **Link Account**. Pick the platform, sign in, and allow Clipster to connect. The account then shows "Linked on \[date\]". - You can link **TikTok**, **Instagram** **YouTube** and **X**accounts. - You can link up to 8 social media accounts to one Clipster profile. - Your social media account must be public. - All linked accounts can submit to campaigns. - If you see error code 422, try linking on the website instead of the app. ### Bio verification (legacy) Bio verification is the old way to add an account: you put a code like "CLIPSTERGG 123456" in your bio. New accounts can no longer be added this way. Accounts added this way show "Bio verified on \[date\]". They can still submit, but some campaigns won't be available to them, for example campaigns that target specific countries. Bio-verified accounts are also more likely to have problems with view updates. To upgrade, click **Complete Verification** on the account. If it says "Direct verification coming soon", your platform can't be linked directly yet. If the app shows "Your accounts have been unlinked", tap **Link Now** and link your accounts again to keep submitting. ### No audience data after linking Audience data usually appears within 5–10 minutes. If it does not, unlink and link the account again. If the account shows **Reconnect**, click it and sign in again. ## Unlinking a social media account Click **Unlink** on the account in **Connected Accounts**. - Only the person who linked an account can unlink it. - You cannot unlink an account while it has submissions in a campaign that is still running. Rejected submissions do not block unlinking. - To move an account to a new Clipster profile, log in to the old profile and unlink it there first. - Accounts cannot be unlinked from a suspended Clipster account. ### "Account already linked" The social media account is linked to a different Clipster profile. If it was you and you lost access, open a support ticket. If someone else linked your account without your consent, open a ticket with your page link. Support will ask how it happened and pass it to the team. Clipster does not unlink every account in these cases. ## Discord and login methods **On the website:** avatar → **Settings** → **Login Methods** → **Discord** → **Connect**. **In the app:** **Profile** → **Login methods**. The row shows "Connected" when it works. To switch to another Discord account, click **Unlink** and connect the new one. ## Changing your details - **Email address:** you cannot change it yourself. Open a support ticket. - **Username:** you can't change your username after your profile is created. - **Profile photo:** use **Edit Profile**. ## One account per creator Keep all your social media pages on one Clipster profile. Multiple Clipster accounts are not recommended. If your account was suspended, you may not create a new one. See [Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-account-suspended-and-can-i-appeal). ## Deleting your account You can delete your account yourself: - **On the website:** avatar → **Settings** → **Account Info** → **Delete account**. - **In the app or on mobile web:** **Profile** → **Delete**. Type **Delete** to confirm, then tap **Yes, delete**. **This can't be undone.** All your earnings and data are permanently deleted. Withdraw your balance first. If you deleted your account by accident, open a support ticket right away. ### How do I get notified about new campaigns? Get the Clipster app and turn on push notifications. You get a notification as soon as a campaign matched to you goes live. You can choose push and email notifications for new campaigns, balance increases and rejected submissions. ## Get the app - **iPhone:** [Clipster on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/clipster-connect-with-brands/id6746810841) - **Android:** [Clipster on Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gg.clipster) When the app asks "Don't miss campaigns picked for you", tap **Yes, notify me**. ## Choose your notifications **On the website:** avatar → **Settings** → **Notifications**. **In the app:** **Profile** → **Notifications**. You can turn each of these on or off, for **Push** and for **Email** separately: - **New campaigns:** campaigns matched to you - **Balance increased:** money was added to your balance - **Submission rejected:** one of your posts was rejected For email, **Email notifications** turns all emails on or off at once. ## Your notification inbox Open **Notifications** in Clipster to see updates about your submissions, payouts and campaigns. Use **Unread** to see only new ones, and **Mark all as read** to clear them. ## Clipster Bot messages on Discord If your Discord is connected, the Clipster Bot sends you DMs, for example the reason when a post is rejected. It can also send updates such as new campaigns and announcements. - Not getting DMs? Allow DMs from server members (User Settings → Privacy & Safety) and check your message requests. - Don't want updates such as new campaigns and announcements? Use the `/optout` command with the Clipster bot that sends them. You can also block the bot or unlink your Discord, but then you also miss rejection reasons by DM. Those are always shown in Clipster. ## Other ways to hear about campaigns - New campaigns are announced in the Clipster Discord. - Save campaigns you like with **Save to My Activity**. - Campaigns can change while they run. See [How do campaigns work?](../campaigns-and-rules/how-do-campaigns-work). ### What do these Clipster terms mean? A quick guide to the words you see in Clipster. See [How do I appeal a rejected clip?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/how-do-i-appeal-a-rejected-clip). ## Campaigns and rules ### How do campaigns work? A campaign is a paid brief from a brand. You post content that follows the brief, submit the post link, and earn money for the views your post gets while the campaign is active. ## Finding campaigns Active campaigns are listed in [Discover](https://app.clipster.gg/discover). Campaigns you joined are in **My Activity** → **Campaigns**. New campaigns are also announced in the Clipster Discord. Clipster does not set dates for upcoming campaigns and cannot guarantee new ones. ## Campaign types The campaign type is shown in the campaign. The niche is often shown in brackets in the name, for example \[GAMING\] or \[CS2\]. - **Clipping:** clips from source material the brand provides. - **Logo:** your video must show the brand's logo. See [What do logo and music campaigns require?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-do-logo-and-music-campaigns-require). - **Music:** your video must use and tag a specific sound. See [What do logo and music campaigns require?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-do-logo-and-music-campaigns-require). - **UGC:** original content made for the brand. Some UGC campaigns need a separate onboarding first (see below). ## What each campaign sets Always read the campaign page before you post. Each campaign shows its own: - **Content Requirements** (the brief: what is allowed and what is not) - **Platforms** (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X) - **Rate**, shown per 1M views ("/ 1M") or per post ("/ post"). Some campaigns pay both, and rates can differ per platform ("By Platform"). - **Cap per Post** and **Cap per Profile** (the most one post, or one creator, can earn). See [When do I get paid?](../earnings-and-payouts/when-do-i-get-paid). - **Min Views for Earnings** (views a post needs before it earns) - **Min Engagement Rate** - **Min Duration** of the video - **Max Submissions per Social Account** and **Max Submissions per day per Social Account** - **Min Followers per Social Profile** - Any other requirements, such as audience or a required sound If the campaign details say something different from this help centre, the campaign details win. Also check the campaign's Discord channel for updates and assets such as logos and content folders. ## How a campaign ends - A campaign ends when its budget is used up, or when Clipster or the brand ends it. Most campaigns run for up to about one month. - You cannot see an end date in advance, and you do not get a notification when it ends. Watch the Discord announcements. - In **My Activity**, an ended campaign shows **Pending** while payout is processing, then **Paid Out**. - Once a campaign ends, you cannot submit new posts and views stop updating. - If a campaign ends before its budget is used, you still get paid for your approved posts. See [When do I get paid?](../earnings-and-payouts/when-do-i-get-paid). ## Why the budget percentage goes up and down When submissions are rejected, their budget goes back into the campaign. The percentage goes down. When posts gain views, the percentage goes up. This is normal. ## Relaunches and rule changes - A campaign can relaunch after it ended, for example when many submissions were rejected and budget became free again. - You can submit again after a relaunch. Your submission limit does not reset. - Views on existing submissions keep updating until the budget is full again. - If the rules change during a campaign, posts submitted before the change are reviewed under the old rules. - A campaign that changed shows a label such as **CPM increased**, **CPM updated** or **Requirements updated**, with when it happened. When you see one, read the campaign page again before your next post. - After a relaunch, payouts for older submissions may wait until the relaunched campaign ends and is reviewed. ## Leaderboard and saved campaigns - **Leaderboard:** open a campaign in **My Activity** → **Campaigns** and choose **Leaderboard** to see the top earners. The earnings shown there can sometimes be inaccurate. Your own submissions and **My Balance** show your real earnings. - **Save for later:** tap **Save to My Activity** on a campaign to find it again quickly. - Want to hear about new campaigns first? See [How do I get notified about new campaigns?](../getting-started/how-do-i-get-notified-about-new-campaigns). ## Campaigns you have to apply for Some campaigns show **Apply to join** instead of **Submit Content**. You can only submit after your application is approved. Until then you see "This campaign requires an approved application before you can submit." 1. Open the campaign and click **Apply to join**. 2. The button changes to **Applied** while your application is reviewed. 3. Once you are approved, you can submit as usual. To apply, at least one of your linked accounts must: - be on a platform the campaign accepts ("None of your linked accounts is on a platform this campaign accepts.") - have the campaign's minimum followers ("None of your linked accounts meets this campaign's minimum followers.") - meet the campaign's audience requirements ("None of your linked accounts meets this campaign's audience requirements.") If you have no linked account yet, you see "Link a social account to apply". You can't apply once a campaign has ended or spent its budget. ## Discord-only campaigns Some campaigns run only in a dedicated Discord server, not in the main Clipster server. For these campaigns, submitting on the Clipster website and app is turned off. If you try, you see "The campaign is exclusive to Discord". To take part, join the campaign's own Discord server (use the **Campaign Discord** link on the campaign page) and submit there with `/submit `. Your Discord must be connected to your Clipster account. See [How do I set up my account and link my socials?](../getting-started/how-do-i-set-up-my-account-and-link-my-socials). ## "Your account niche does not meet the requirements" Clipster places each account in a niche, such as "Gaming creator". This is not shown publicly. If you get this error and think it is wrong, open a support ticket with a screenshot of the error and your page link. ## No pre-approval Support cannot pre-approve a post. Read the campaign rules before you post. See [What rules does every clip need to follow?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-rules-does-every-clip-need-to-follow). ### What rules does every clip need to follow? Every clip must follow the campaign brief, be high quality, keep its stats public, and get its views and engagement organically. The campaign's own rules always come first. These rules apply to all campaigns on top of them. > ✅ **The short version: rules for every campaign** > > - Follow the campaign brief. Your page must fit the campaign's niche (for example, no movie-clip pages in sports campaigns). > - Make high-quality, original content, created for this campaign. > - Captions in English and related to your post and niche. > - Keep the post, your account, and all stats public. > - Meet the minimum engagement: 0.2% on all campaigns, up to 3% on music and higher-CPM campaigns. > - Only organic views. No bots, ads, engagement groups, or shoutouts. > - No content aimed at South Asian audiences, and no NSFW content. NSFW can lead to suspension. > - Keep paid posts up for 30 days after payout. > > The campaign's own rules always come first. Details for each rule are below. ## General rules 1. **Follow the brief.** The content must clearly match the campaign's theme. 2. **High quality.** Low-effort, spammy, or repetitive content is rejected. 3. **Public stats.** Likes, comments, and views must stay public during review. Do not hide stats, turn off comments, or make the post private. 4. **English captions.** Captions must be in English. No unrelated foreign-language captions or hashtag spam. 5. **Video with movement.** A still image uploaded as a video is not accepted. Photo posts only work if the campaign allows them. 6. **Default thumbnail.** Do not use custom or unrelated thumbnails. Use the one the platform provides. 7. **Tags from the start.** If the campaign asks you to tag the brand, the tag must be there when the post is first published. Adding it later does not help. 8. **No explicit content.** No nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, or other adult content. 9. **Caption requirements.** Some campaigns ask for a tag, hashtag, or text in the caption. See below. ## Caption requirements If a campaign has caption requirements, your caption is checked when you submit. If it doesn't match, you see "The post caption does not meet this campaign's caption requirements. Update the caption and submit again." The caption is checked again every time your views update. If you edit the caption later and remove what the campaign asks for, the post is **rejected automatically** with "Caption requirements not met". Keep required tags and text in the caption for the whole campaign. ## Niche and audience - Your page and your content must match the campaign's niche. For example, a gaming campaign needs a page that mainly posts gaming content. - Campaigns target Tier 1 audiences (for example, US, UK, Canada, Australia). - Content aimed mainly at a South Asian audience is rejected. Examples: cricket, Bollywood, Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, or content in Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, or Tamil. - Content aimed mainly at an African audience may also be rejected, unless the campaign says otherwise. - Your own location does not matter. What matters is who your content is for. ### "English-only" campaigns If a campaign says "English-only", everything must be in English: captions, titles, spoken language, on-screen text, comments, the page niche, and even the music. Avoid regional songs. ## Engagement rate Your post needs a minimum engagement rate, if not otherwise stated: | Campaign type | Minimum engagement rate | | --- | --- | | Music campaigns | 3% | | All other campaigns | 0.2% | Higher-CPM campaigns can require up to 3%. Check **Min Engagement Rate** on the campaign page. **How it is calculated:** (likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ views × 100. Story views are not counted. The rate is checked when your post is reviewed, using the latest data. If it is below the minimum at that time, the post is rejected, even if engagement goes up later. You can see your post's latest **Engagement rate** when you open it in **My Activity** → **Submissions**. ## Organic views only All views and engagement must be real and organic. These are not allowed: - Viewbots, bought views, or fake engagement - Paid ads for your post, even on real ad platforms - Sharing your post in group chats, engagement groups, or any sharing scheme - Asking friends, followers, or communities to watch or like your post - Retweeting or quote-tweeting your own post on X - Shoutouts or reposts from unrelated accounts A post with inorganic engagement is rejected and earns nothing. A clear or repeated pattern leads to account suspension. See [Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-account-suspended-and-can-i-appeal). ## Original content and reuse - Each submission should be original. Posting the same video from several of your accounts to the same campaign may be rejected. - Submitting the same video many times, or many unrelated posts, counts as spam. - A post can only be submitted to one campaign. You get "This post was already submitted to a campaign" if you try to add it to a second one. - Content made by someone else is only OK if you have their permission to post it. - Clipster has no policy against copyrighted clips such as movie scenes. But the platform may remove or restrict your post. A removed or restricted post cannot be reviewed. - After a campaign, you may not reuse the same content for another campaign, even on another platform or with new branding. ### What do logo and music campaigns require? Logo campaigns need the correct logo in the approved position (use the provided template), clearly visible and looping for the whole video. Music campaigns need the required sound, tagged on the post, as the main audio for the whole video. These rules come on top of [What rules does every clip need to follow?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-rules-does-every-clip-need-to-follow). ## Logo campaigns ### Logo rules - **Use the template.** Use the provided template file ("LOGO_PRE_PLACED", 1080×1920). The logo is already in the approved position. Do not move, resize or reposition it. - **Don't change the logo.** Logos come as GIFs with a transparent background. No stretching, distorting, recolouring, filters or effects. - **One logo only.** Multiple logos are not allowed. - **Keep it visible.** The logo must be clearly visible at all times. Captions, usernames, buttons or other graphics must not cover more than 50% of it. - **Let it loop.** Animated logos must play from start to finish without interruption and loop. The logo must stay fully visible for the required time (usually 7–25+ seconds, depending on the logo). - **Stay out of the red zone.** A logo that overlaps the safezone's red "no-go" zone by more than 25% will most likely be rejected. - The most common mistakes are a logo that is too small, or placed in a corner or on the side. - A logo campaign cannot be combined with another campaign in the same post. Full details, a video walkthrough and the safezone tool: [Clipster Logo Guidelines](https://app.notion.com/p/bec4a057b8c98243853a81f28fadbafc). ### Where to find the logo Use the assets linked in the campaign details. Check the campaign's Discord channel for updates to the logo or instructions. ## Music campaigns ### Sound rules - **Tag the required sound** when you post. Having the song audible is not enough. The platform's official tag for that sound must be on the post. - **Get the sound from the campaign.** Use the audio link in the campaign details. Original audio or a different sound link makes the post ineligible, even if the right song is audible. - You may use the platform's original sound to loop the audio, but the required sound must still be tagged. - **Volume:** the song must be the main audio, at least 75% volume, and play throughout the video. A short intro is OK. - **Song already in your edit?** Add the campaign sound in TikTok at 1% volume so the post is still tagged with the right song. If your video doesn't include the song, add it in TikTok and set it to 75% or higher before posting. - **Length:** the video must be longer than 10 seconds. - **Short song?** Extend it with editing tools and keep using the original required audio. - **On-screen lyrics:** only required if the campaign says so. ### TikTok replaced my sound TikTok sometimes swaps the campaign sound after posting. This can lead to a rejection. Keeping the audio at 75% volume or more helps. It can also happen if the sound is not available in your country. Check that before you post. ### Engagement Music campaigns need at least **3% engagement**. See the formula in [What rules does every clip need to follow?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-rules-does-every-clip-need-to-follow). ### Not allowed in music campaigns - Sexually suggestive content - IRL funny videos, reality shows or cricket - Black-and-white manga, hentai or comic spam - Very brutal scenes - Posts in Southeast Asian, Russian or Indian languages - Southeast Asian mobile games such as Mobile Legends - Combining the music campaign with another campaign (for example a logo) in the same post For more details, join the [Clipster Music](https://discord.gg/N9cBzEevGX) Discord server. ## Reviews, appeals and suspensions ### Why was my clip rejected? Your clip was rejected because it did not meet a campaign rule or a Clipster rule when it was reviewed. The exact reason is shown next to the post on your dashboard. ## Where to find the reason - **In Clipster (always up to date):** go to **My Activity** → **Submissions** and open the rejected post. The reason is shown under the status (in the app: "Reasoning"). On desktop, you can also hover over the info icon next to **Rejected**. - **Clipster Bot DM on Discord:** The bot also sends you the reason. ### Not getting the DM? - Check that your Discord is connected in **Settings** → **Login Methods** (in the app: **Profile** → **Login methods**). - Check that you are on the right Discord account. - Allow DMs from server members (User Settings → Privacy & Safety). - Look in your message requests. - Clipster always shows the reason on the submission, even if the DM did not arrive. ## Rejection reasons ### Campaign Requirements and relevance | Reason | What it means | | --- | --- | | Content does not match requirements | The content is off-topic, in the wrong style or format, or is missing something the brief asks for. | | Account Irrelevant to Campaign | Your page does not match the campaign's niche. For example, only CS2 pages can join CS2 campaigns. | | South Asia–focused content | The content targets a South Asian audience when the campaign needs another region. | | Non-English content | The content itself was not in English. | | Non-English caption / Spam Caption | The caption was not in English, or was spam (for example, unrelated hashtags). | | Caption requirements not met | The caption did not meet the campaign's caption rules; for example, a required tag or text was missing or removed. | ### Engagement | Reason | What it means | | --- | --- | | Below Campaign engagement threshold | The engagement rate was too low. Older rejections may say "Below Clipster engagement threshold". See the thresholds in [What rules does every clip need to follow?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-rules-does-every-clip-need-to-follow). | | Inorganic Engagement | The views or engagement do not look organic. | | Hidden Engagement | Likes, comments, views, or other engagement statistics were hidden or restricted, preventing the submission from being reviewed properly. | ### Availability and account status | Reason | What it means | | --- | --- | | Video not available | The video could not be played, was removed, failed to load, or was not public. | | Profile Not Available | Your profile was deleted, private, or could not be opened. | | User suspended | Your account was suspended, so your open submissions were rejected. | ### Logo Requirements | Reason | What it means | | --- | --- | | Logo size issue | The logo is too small. | | Logo placement issue | The logo is in the wrong place, cut off, covered, or rotated. | | Logo Not Looping | The logo did not stay visible or loop for the whole video. | | Wrong Logo / Logo Usage Issue / Multiple Logos | The logo was missing, wrong, had changed colours, or more than one logo was used. | For logo and music rules, see [What do logo and music campaigns require?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-do-logo-and-music-campaigns-require) ### Content Integrity and Safety | Reason | What it means | | --- | --- | | Explicit / NSFW content | Nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, or other adult content. | | Spam Post | The same video was submitted several times, or many unrelated posts were submitted. | | Duplicate Submission | This post or video was already submitted. | | Not original content | The submission was found to contain copied, stolen, reused, or otherwise unoriginal content. | | Other | None of the reasons above fit. The note on your dashboard explains more. | ## Messages when you submit (not rejections) These messages appear when you submit. The post never went into review. - **"Submission is too old for campaign. Create new post and try again."** The post was live for more than 24 hours before you submitted it. - **"This post was published before the campaign started. Create a new post and submit it."** Only posts published after the campaign launch count. - **"This post was already submitted to a campaign. Please submit a different post."** The post is already in this or another campaign. - **"This post was already submitted and deleted; resubmission is forbidden."** You removed this post from the campaign before. - **"Campaign is not active"** The campaign has ended. No new posts can be submitted. - **"The campaign doesn't have enough budget right now."** The budget is used up for now. It may open again if budget frees up. - **"This campaign requires a specific sound. Use the required sound and submit again."** You used the wrong audio lin. Post again with the sound from the campaign details. - **"Your account's niche doesn't meet this campaign's niche requirements."** See the account niche section in the campaigns article. - **"No OAuth connection found. Connect via OAuth to participate in geo-restricted campaigns."** This campaign targets specific countries. Link the account directly with **Link Account** (bio-verified accounts can't join), then submit again. ## My post showed earnings, then got rejected Earnings on your dashboard do not mean the post was approved. Approval is not shown separately. Most posts that show earnings have simply not been reviewed yet. ## What can I do now? - If the reason is correct, post a new clip that follows the rules. Rejected posts cannot be resubmitted. - If you think the decision is wrong and the reason can be appealed, see [How do I appeal a rejected clip?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/how-do-i-appeal-a-rejected-clip). - A rejection is not a suspension. If your whole account is blocked, see [Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-account-suspended-and-can-i-appeal). ### How do I appeal a rejected clip? You can appeal some rejection reasons by opening an Appeals ticket in the Clipster Discord. Each submission can be appealed only once, and the decision on the appeal is final. ## Which rejections can be appealed? Check your rejection reason first. See [Why was my clip rejected?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-clip-rejected). | Rejection reason | Can you appeal? | | --- | --- | | Content does not match requirements | Yes, if after reviewing the complete campaign brief, you believe your submission meets every requirement. | | Inorganic Engagement | Yes, if you believe your engagement was organic. You do not need to submit a recording of your analytics anymore. | | Logo size issue | Yes, if you believe the logo follows the [Clipster Logo Guidelines](https://app.notion.com/p/bec4a057b8c98243853a81f28fadbafc). | | Video not available | Yes, if the post is currently public and accessible through a logged-out incognito browser. It may have been a loading error. | | Duplicate Submission (someone else submitted your video) | Only if you can provide proof that you are the original creator. | ### Conditional re-review | Rejection reason | Can you appeal? | | --- | --- | | Below Campaign engagement threshold (music campaigns) | Only if your engagement is now above 3% and the campaign is still active and not paid out. | | Review failed because the video is age-restricted | Remove the age restriction first. A re-review will only be possible if the campaign is still active. | ### Rejections that cannot be appealed | Rejection reason | Can you appeal? | | --- | --- | | Below Campaign engagement threshold (other campaigns) | No. | | Non-English caption | No. Changing the caption afterwards does not help. | | Hidden engagement | No. Making stats public afterwards does not help. | | Logo Not Looping | No. | | Account Irrelevant to Campaign | No. Check the campaign requirements before your next post. | | Spam Post, or a still image instead of a video | No. | | Messages at submission (too old, already submitted, campaign not active, no budget, wrong sound) | No. These are not review decisions. | If your reason is not in this table, ask in your ticket whether it can be appealed. ## How to appeal 1. Open a ticket in the Clipster Discord support channel. See [How do I contact support?](../help-and-support/how-do-i-contact-support). 2. Choose **Appeals → Rejected Submission**. 3. Add the submission link, the campaign name, and why you think the decision is wrong. 4. If your Discord is not linked, also add your Clipster username and email address. You do not need screenshots or screen recordings. The team checks your post's data directly through your linked account. If your account still shows "Bio verified", linking it directly with **Complete Verification** is the best way to support your appeal. See [How do I set up my account and link my socials?](../getting-started/how-do-i-set-up-my-account-and-link-my-socials). ## Rules for appeals - **One appeal per submission.** Once an appeal is decided, that submission cannot be appealed again. - **One appeal per ticket.** For another appeal, open a new ticket. - **One appeal covers the campaign.** The team reviews all your rejected submissions in that campaign. You do not need a separate appeal for each post. - Claims that someone else added fake views to your post without your knowledge are not accepted. You are responsible for the engagement on your content. ## How long it takes There is no fixed time. It depends on how many appeals are waiting. The decision is posted in your ticket. ## Appeals after the campaign has ended Once a campaign has been paid out, submission can no longer be appealed. ## What happens next - **Approved:** Your submission is restored. The eligible views and earnings it had while the campaign was active count towards your payout. Views after the campaign ended do not count. - **Denied:** The decision is final. The submission cannot be appealed again. If your whole account was suspended, the process is different. See [Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-account-suspended-and-can-i-appeal). ### Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal? Your account is suspended when it breaks Clipster rules, for example through viewbotting or other inorganic engagement, explicit content, fraud or abuse. You can appeal a suspension once in the Clipster Discord, and the decision is final. ## What gets an account suspended? - **Viewbotting or inorganic engagement.** A single flagged post is rejected and earns nothing. A clear or repeated pattern leads to suspension. Suspension for viewbotting can be permanent. - **Explicit / NSFW content.** - **Fraud or abuse** of the platform. - **Strikes for removed posts.** At 4 strikes within 60 days, your account may be suspended for 48 hours. See [What happens if my post is deleted, removed or goes offline?](../submissions-and-views/what-happens-if-my-post-is-deleted-removed-or-goes-offline). For what counts as inorganic engagement, see [What rules does every clip need to follow?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-rules-does-every-clip-need-to-follow). ## Can one of my social accounts be suspended on its own? Yes. A single linked social media account can be suspended while the rest of your Clipster account stays active. - You can't submit from that account ("Social account is suspended"). - It can't be linked again, also not to another Clipster profile ("Account is suspended and cannot be linked"). - Your other linked accounts keep working. If you think it's a mistake, open a support ticket with the account's link. ## How do I find out why? The reason is shown when you try to log in. The Clipster Bot also sends it to you as a Discord DM. ## What happens while I am suspended? - You **cannot log in or withdraw** while you are suspended. - If the suspension is permanent, your open submissions in campaigns that are not yet paid out are rejected, and your balance is **not paid out**. - Your social media accounts **cannot be unlinked**. This stops banned accounts from moving to a new profile. - Creating a new Clipster account is **not allowed**. It counts as ban evasion. - The end date of a temporary suspension is set by the system. Support cannot change it. Check the date shown when you log in. ## How to appeal a suspension 1. Go to the appeals channel in the Clipster Discord and choose **Suspended Account**. No access to Discord? Use the [Contact Us](https://www.clipster.gg/contact-us) form and choose "I need help with something". 2. Enter your Clipster username, what happened, and why the suspension should be lifted. 3. Your appeal is filed. The decision is posted in your appeal channel. **Before you file:** when you open a suspension appeal, all your current Discord roles are removed and you get the **Suspended** role. Only open one if your account is really suspended. Misusing it can lead to further action. You do not need screen recordings or analytics videos. The team checks your post data directly through your linked account. ## Rules for suspension appeals - **Each suspension can be appealed once.** The decision is final. - If the posts that led to the suspension were deleted, the suspension stays. - Claims that someone else added fake views without your knowledge are not accepted. You are responsible for the engagement on your content. - No outcome or timeline can be promised before the review is done. To appeal a single rejected post (not a suspension), see [How do I appeal a rejected clip?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/how-do-i-appeal-a-rejected-clip). ## Submissions and views ### How do view refreshes work? Clipster doesn't show views live. We check every submitted post on a schedule and update its views, and your earnings with them. - Each refresh reads your post's **current total**. Views earned between checks are never lost; they show up at the next refresh. - Only views gained **after you submitted** count. See [Why are my views or earnings not what I expected?](../submissions-and-views/why-are-my-views-or-earnings-not-what-i-expected). ## How often we check your post Every post is in one of four groups, based on how fast it's getting views: - 🐣 **Brand new:** checked more often while we learn how it performs. - 🚀 **Growing fast:** our quickest checks. - 📈 **Steady:** regular checks. - 🌙 **Quiet:** occasional checks. Your post moves between groups on its own. Pick up speed and checks speed up; slow down and they space out. Nothing else affects it. ## When is the next refresh? Open the post in **[My Activity](https://clipster.gg/activity/campaigns)** → **Submissions**. It shows when the post refreshes next. ![Next refresh time on a submission in My Activity → Submissions](https://cdn.clipster.gg/web-assets/help-centre/post-refreshing-timer.png) ## FAQ - **Number doesn't match TikTok?** That's normal. The platform updates instantly, we update on a schedule, and we only count views after you submitted. - **"Couldn't refresh this post yet"?** It's temporary. We try again automatically and nothing is lost. - **"Post unavailable"?** The post may be deleted, private or restricted. Make sure it's public. - **Not updated for more than 24 hours** on a public post while the campaign is still running? Open a support ticket before the campaign ends. Views that were never recorded can't be paid later. ### How do I submit a clip, and what counts as a valid post? Post your video on a linked, public account, then submit the direct post link to the campaign within 24 hours of publishing it. Only views your post gets after you submit it count towards your earnings. ## How to submit **On the website or in the app:** 1. Go to [Discover](https://app.clipster.gg/discover). 2. Open the campaign and click **Submit Content**. 3. Paste your post link in **Submission link** and send it. **Ineligible:** means the account, submission, or request does not meet the requirements or criteria needed to be submitted. The reasons are mentioned on the submission itself. If one of your accounts can't submit, you'll see "Account Eligibility" with a button to fix it (**Link Account**, **Verify**, or **Reconnect**). **On Discord:** use `/submit ` in the campaign's Discord server. ## What counts as a valid post - Posted from a social media account linked to your Clipster profile. - On a platform the campaign allows. - **Submitted within 24 hours of being published.** Older posts get "Submission is too old for campaign". This cannot be bypassed unless a Clipster technical issue stopped you from submitting in time. - **Published after the campaign started.** Posts from before the campaign launch are not accepted. - The post and your account are public, with stats visible. - Not submitted to any campaign before. A post can only be in one campaign. - Follows the campaign brief and [What rules does every clip need to follow?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-rules-does-every-clip-need-to-follow). ### Supported Link formats Submit the direct link to the individual post or video, not a profile, channel, search result, or campaign page. Remove optional tracking parameters such as `utm_source`, `igsh`, `stkn`, `_r`, and `_t`. Do not remove parameters required to identify the content, such as YouTube’s `v=` value. | **Platform** | **Accepted direct-link format** | **Example** | | --- | --- | --- | | TikTok | Public video link | https://www.tiktok.com/@username/video/1234567890 | | Instagram | Public Reel or post link | https://www.instagram.com/reel/ABC123/ or https://www.instagram.com/p/ABC123/ | | X | Public post link | https://x.com/username/status/1234567890 | | YouTube | Public video or Shorts link | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABCD1234 or https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ABCD1234 | ## Submission limits - **Per campaign:** you can submit up to **200 posts per campaign**, counting all your linked accounts together. Rejected posts count towards this limit. Many campaigns also show **Max Submissions per Social Account** and **Max Submissions per day per Social Account**. Some rank perks raise the limits. See [What are ranks, and what perks do I get?](../earnings-and-payouts/what-are-ranks-and-what-perks-do-i-get). - **Per day:** There is also a limit on how many posts you can submit in 24 hours, across all your linked accounts. If you hit it, you see "You've already submitted the maximum number of posts for campaign in 24 hours. Try again later." This is a standard anti-abuse limit, not a penalty. Limits are more generous for accounts with a clean track record. You cannot see your remaining quota. ## Eligible views Only views your post gains **after you submit it** count. The Diamond rank perk "total views count" changes this. See [What are ranks, and what perks do I get?](../earnings-and-payouts/what-are-ranks-and-what-perks-do-i-get). Example: your post had 22,000 views when you submitted it and later reached 82,000. Your eligible views are 60,000. That is why a post with many views can show 0 eligible views. Either the views came before you submitted, or the post has not been refreshed yet. ### When views update - About every 2 hours for the first 8 hours after you submit. - After that, usually every 1–7 hours. Fast-growing posts update more often. - Open the submission in **My Activity** → **Submissions**. Where available, "Next refresh in" shows when it updates next. - Views stop updating when the campaign ends. - Age-restricted, geo-restricted, or private posts may not update. ## What happens after you submit Your dashboard shows one of these statuses: - **Processing:** basic requirements are being checked, such as platform, views, and engagement. - **Insufficient Views For Earnings:** ("Submission currently doesn't have enough views to generate earnings"). It moves on once it reaches the campaign's **Min Views for Earnings**. - **Eligible:** The post meets the basic requirements and is being monitored for compliance and quality. Final eligibility is confirmed after the campaign ends. - **Rejected:** The post did not pass review. The reason is shown on the submission. - **Paid Out:** Earnings are final and credited to your Clipster wallet. Approval is not shown separately. Earnings on your dashboard do not mean your post is approved yet. If a post is rejected, you see the reason on the dashboard and in a Clipster Bot DM. See [Why was my clip rejected?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-clip-rejected). ### How long review takes | Campaign type | Typical review time | | --- | --- | | Standard | 3–7 days | | High-volume | 7–14 days | | Music | 5–10 days | It can take longer at busy times. ## While your post is under review - Keep the post and your account public. Do not hide stats. - Do not delete, archive, or repost it. See [What happens if my post is deleted, removed or goes offline?](../submissions-and-views/what-happens-if-my-post-is-deleted-removed-or-goes-offline). - Do not make big edits. Fixing a small typo in the caption is usually fine. Never remove tags or text the campaign requires in the caption: the post is rejected automatically. See [What rules does every clip need to follow?](../campaigns-and-rules/what-rules-does-every-clip-need-to-follow). - Do not boost the post in any way. ## Can I delete a submission? Yes, but only while it is **Eligible**. Open it in **My Activity** → **Submissions** and choose **Delete submission**. - You can't submit that post to the campaign again afterwards. - Deleted submissions don't count towards your submission limit. - Deleting the submission does not delete the post on the platform. Processing, Ineligible, Rejected, and Paid Out submissions can't be deleted. ## Can I resubmit a post? No. A rejected post cannot be submitted again. A post you removed from a campaign cannot be submitted to that campaign again. The same post cannot be submitted twice, or to a second campaign. ## What if my post goes viral after I submit? That's great, and it doesn't hurt your submission. Review checks whether the post follows the rules, not how popular it is. Views still count up to the campaign's **Cap per Post**. ## Common errors - **Link not accepted:** use the direct post link, remove tracking parameters, check the post is public. - **"This post was already submitted to a campaign":** The post is already in a campaign. Check your submissions. - **Post not found / stats not loading:** Make sure the post and account are public. Very new posts may need 5–10 minutes. - **"An error occurred":** On the web, clear cache and cookies or try a private window. On mobile, close and reopen the app or update it. You can also submit on the website. For errors about the campaign itself (ended, no budget, wrong sound), see [Why was my clip rejected?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-clip-rejected). ### Why are my views or earnings not what I expected? Usually because only views gained after you submitted count, views update every few hours, or the post hasn't reached the campaign's minimum views or has hit a cap. Find what you see below. ## "My post has more views than Clipster shows" - **Only views after you submit count.** If your post had 22,000 views when you submitted and now has 82,000, your eligible views are 60,000. Submit as soon as you post. (The Diamond rank perk "total views count" is the exception. See [What are ranks, and what perks do I get?](../earnings-and-payouts/what-are-ranks-and-what-perks-do-i-get).) - **Views aren't live.** They update every few hours. Open the post in **My Activity** → **Submissions** to see when it refreshes next. See [How do view refreshes work?](../submissions-and-views/how-do-view-refreshes-work). - **Views stop when the campaign ends.** Views after the campaign ended never count. ## "My views are 0 or not updating" - **Just submitted?** The post shows **Processing** first. Give it a few hours. - **"Couldn't refresh this post yet"** is temporary. Clipster tries again automatically. - **"Post unavailable"** means the post may be deleted, private or restricted. Make sure it is public. See [What happens if my post is deleted, removed or goes offline?](../submissions-and-views/what-happens-if-my-post-is-deleted-removed-or-goes-offline). - **Age-restricted or blocked in some countries?** Clipster may not be able to read the post. Remove the restriction. - **Bio-verified account?** These have more update problems. Link the account directly with **Complete Verification**. See [How do I set up my account and link my socials?](../getting-started/how-do-i-set-up-my-account-and-link-my-socials). If a public post hasn't updated for more than 24 hours while the campaign is still running, open a support ticket **before the campaign ends**. Views that were never recorded can't be paid later. ## "My post has views but shows \$0" - **Ineligible:** the post hasn't reached the campaign's **Min Views for Earnings** yet. Each post needs to reach it on its own. - **Per-post campaign:** some campaigns pay a fixed amount per post, not per view. That is only paid once the post is approved. - **Rejected:** rejected posts earn nothing. Check the reason. See [Why was my clip rejected?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-clip-rejected). ## "My post stopped earning" - **Cap per Post reached:** a post can't earn more than the campaign's Cap per Post. - **Cap per Profile reached:** you've earned the most one creator can earn from this campaign. - **The campaign ended** or ran out of budget. See "Pay types and caps" in [When do I get paid?](../earnings-and-payouts/when-do-i-get-paid). ## "My earnings went down or disappeared" - Earnings shown while the campaign runs are **not final**. Posts are monitored until the campaign ends, and a post can still be rejected. - An approved post that disappears goes back to review until it is online again. - The campaign's budget percentage going up and down is normal and doesn't change your earnings. ## "My payout is lower than I expected" - Only posts that weren't rejected are paid. - Earnings are exact, not rounded. \$398.18 instead of \$400 is the real amount. - A **5% fee** is taken when you withdraw. See [How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees?](../earnings-and-payouts/how-do-i-withdraw-my-earnings-and-what-are-the-fees). ## "I can't withdraw my earnings yet" Earnings stay pending until the campaign ends and is paid out, usually about 1 week after it ends. Then they appear in your balance. You need at least \$50 to withdraw. ### What happens if my post is deleted, removed or goes offline? Your post must stay public during review and for 30 days after the campaign has been paid out. If a paid post goes missing, you get a warning and 7 days to put it back. If you do not, the warning becomes a strike. ## During the campaign - If your post is deleted, private or unavailable when it is reviewed, it is rejected as "Video not available". - If Clipster can't find your post during a view update, you see "Post unavailable – It may have been deleted or restricted. Please verify it's still available on \[platform\]." Check the post and make it public again. - If an **approved** post disappears while the campaign is running, it goes back to review. You may see "Submission awaiting approval by platform for post not found". Put the post back online so it can be approved again. - "Couldn't refresh this post yet" is different: it is a temporary update problem. Clipster tries again automatically. No action needed. - If the video is age-restricted, Clipster cannot read its data. The review fails. Open the post in a private browser window while logged out to check. Remove the age restriction, then ask support for a re-review. - If your views stop updating for a public post, report it in a ticket while the campaign is still running. Views that were never recorded cannot be paid after the campaign ends. - Linking your account directly (with **Link Account**, not bio verification) helps prevent update problems. See [How do I set up my account and link my socials?](../getting-started/how-do-i-set-up-my-account-and-link-my-socials). ## After the campaign: keep paid posts up Posts you were paid for must stay publicly available for **30 days after the campaign has been paid out**. The brand paid for that content to stay live. You may only remove a post earlier for a good reason. Clipster re-checks paid posts during that time through your linked account. ### Warnings and strikes 1. If a check cannot find your post, you get a "post no longer available" warning. 2. You then have **7 days** to put it back. If you do, the warning closes and nothing stays on your record. 3. If it is still missing after 7 days, the warning becomes a **strike**. 4. Strikes stay on your account for 60 days. At **4 strikes**, your account may be suspended for 48 hours. Archiving a post or making it private counts the same as deleting it. A post that is still up but age-restricted, or blocked in some countries, does not count as missing. ## I got a "post no longer available" warning **You deleted it.** The warning stays. Re-uploading it as a new post does not help. The check looks at the original link. **You archived it or made it private.** Unarchive it or make it public again. The next check clears the warning. No ticket needed. **The platform removed the post or banned your account.** This is not held against you, but the team needs to see it. Open a ticket with a **screen recording** that shows: - the removal or ban notice from the platform - which account it is about - the post link, or your profile if the whole account was removed If the strike checks out, it is removed. Without the recording, the team cannot tell a platform removal from a deletion. If your whole account was banned, one recording covers all posts. Say so in one ticket. **The post is still up and you think the warning is wrong.** Open the link in a private window while logged out. If it does not load, it is not public. Make it public again. If it does load, open a ticket with a screen recording of the post playing in a logged-out window, with the link visible. ## Can I get compensation if the platform took my post offline? You can ask. Open a support ticket with the post link and proof that the platform took it down, such as the platform's notice. Each request is reviewed individually. Compensation is not guaranteed. ## After the 30 days - You may delete or archive the post. - You may edit it, for example remove the logo. - You may not reuse the content for another campaign. ## Earnings and payouts ### When do I get paid? Payment is processed after the campaign ends and all submissions have been reviewed. Payment is made within 2 days. ## The payout timeline Campaign ends → review is finished → payout is processed → money reaches your Clipster balance. In **My Activity**, the campaign shows **Pending** while processing the payout. Your posts then change to **Paid Out**, and the money shows in [My Balance](https://app.clipster.gg/earnings). - This usually takes **2 days to process**. - Big campaigns, busy periods, and holidays can take longer. The payout still happens. - If a campaign relaunches, payouts for older posts may wait until the relaunched campaign ends and is reviewed. - Payouts cannot be sped up. The schedule is the same for everyone. Once the money is in your balance, you can withdraw it. See [How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees?](../earnings-and-payouts/how-do-i-withdraw-my-earnings-and-what-are-the-fees). ## How your earnings are calculated You earn money for a post when: 1. The post is **approved**. 2. The post reaches the campaign's **"Min Views for Earnings"** (for example, 2,000). This applies to each post on its own, not to all your posts together. Your earnings = your post's eligible views × the campaign's rate per 1 million views (RPM). Some campaigns pay per post instead, or both. See "Pay types and caps" below. Eligible views are views gained after you submitted, while the campaign was active. See [How do I submit a clip, and what counts as a valid post?](../submissions-and-views/how-do-i-submit-a-clip-and-what-counts-as-a-valid-post). Earnings are not rounded. A payout of \$398.18 instead of \$400 is the exact amount, not a fee. ## Pay types and caps The campaign page shows how a campaign pays (**Rate**, shown as "/ 1M" or "/ post"). - **Per view:** you earn the rate per 1M views on your eligible views. - **Per post:** a fixed amount for each post. It is only paid for posts that are approved. - **Base + views:** a guaranteed amount per post plus earnings per view ("Guaranteed base + Performance upside"). - **By platform:** the rate can differ per platform. Some campaigns pay per post on one platform and per view on another. ### Caps - **Cap per Post:** the most one post can earn. Views after that do not add more. - **Cap per Profile:** the most you can earn from the campaign across all your posts. Once you reach it, you can't submit more. You see "You have reached this campaign's earnings limit per creator." - Per-post pay counts towards your Cap per Profile first. View earnings fill what is left. ## Pending vs. confirmed earnings - **Pending:** the post is waiting for review. The amount is not confirmed. - **Confirmed:** the post is approved. The amount counts towards your balance. ## Good to know - If a campaign ends before its budget is used, you are still paid in full for your approved posts. - Your balance does not expire. It is not wiped if you do not withdraw. - Music campaign bonuses follow the same schedule as normal earnings. - If your account is suspended, you cannot withdraw. A permanent suspension means your earnings are not paid out. See [Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-account-suspended-and-can-i-appeal). ## Referral bonuses You get 10% of what creators you refer earn, up to \$100 per creator. Referral bonuses go into a separate referral balance. There is a 14-day waiting period before referral earnings are added. See [How does Invite & Earn work?](../earnings-and-payouts/how-does-invite-and-earn-work). ## My balance is lower than expected - Only approved posts count. Check for rejections on your dashboard. - Posts below the campaign's "Min Views for Earnings" earn \$0. - Pending earnings are not confirmed yet. - Views may not be final. They update every few hours while the campaign runs. - A 5% fee is taken when you withdraw. See [How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees?](../earnings-and-payouts/how-do-i-withdraw-my-earnings-and-what-are-the-fees). ## My payout is missing If the campaign shows "Paid out" and money or a bonus is still missing after the usual time, open a support ticket. Include your Clipster username and the campaign name. ### How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees? You can withdraw from **My Balance** once your balance is at least \$50. Clipster takes a 5% withdrawal fee from each withdrawal. You can be paid by PayPal, Visa Prepaid Card, Amazon Gift Card, USDT or bank transfer. ## How to withdraw 1. Open [My Balance](https://app.clipster.gg/earnings) (in the app: **Balance** or **Earnings**). 2. Click **Withdraw**. 3. **Select Method** and enter your details. You choose the method each time you withdraw. 4. Check the **Review withdrawal** screen. It shows the withdrawal fee and the total amount. 5. Tick "I understand my withdrawal is non-refundable" and confirm. Your balance must be at least **\$50**. This minimum cannot be waived. It also applies to referral bonuses. Pending earnings become available once a campaign ends. ## Fees Clipster charges a **5% withdrawal fee**. It is taken from the amount you withdraw. Example: a \$54 withdrawal pays out about \$51. ## Payment methods | Method | How long it takes | What you need | | --- | --- | --- | | PayPal | As soon as you redeem the email link | The email address of your PayPal account | | Visa Prepaid Card | As soon as you redeem the email link | Your email address. The card can be added to Google Pay and Apple Pay. | | Amazon Gift Card | As soon as you redeem the email link | Your email address | | USDT (ERC20) | Usually within 1 hour | Your USDT (ERC20) wallet address, starting with "0x" | | Bank transfer – Europe (SEPA) | Up to a few days, usually instant | Account holder name and IBAN. Paid in EUR. | | Bank transfer – India (IMPS) | Up to a few days, usually instant | Account holder name, IFSC code and account number. Paid in INR. | - Each withdrawal uses one payment method. You cannot split one withdrawal. - You can use a different method for your next withdrawal. - Referral bonuses are a separate balance. Withdraw them from **Invite & Earn** (in the app: **Profile** → **Referrals**). See [How does Invite & Earn work?](../earnings-and-payouts/how-does-invite-and-earn-work). - If a withdrawal fails, the amount goes back to your Clipster balance. - Check which methods work in your country before you start. ### PayPal, Visa Prepaid Card and Amazon Gift Card These are sent through our partner. 1. Enter your email address. For PayPal, use the email of your PayPal account. Make sure it is correct. 2. You get an email from our partner with a redemption link. It can take a few minutes. Check your inbox, spam, promotions and junk folders. You can also search for the reference code shown in the app. 3. Redeem the link. The money or card is then available right away. A PayPal Business account is recommended. Personal PayPal accounts in some countries cannot receive payments. If that is your case, use a PayPal Business account or another method. ### USDT Double-check your wallet address. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed. Some exchanges, such as Binance, ask for the sender's details ("Travel Rule"). Enter: - **Name:** Saikyo LLC - **Address:** 30N South Gould Street, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA - **PAN ID:** a dash "-" ### Bank transfer Choose your region (Europe or India) and enter your bank details. Before you confirm, the app shows the withdrawal fee, the exchange rate and the exact amount you receive in EUR or INR. The transfer has a reference code that appears on your bank statement. The quoted price is only held for a short time. If you see "This quote has expired", start the withdrawal again to get a current one. ## Invoices and tax documents Clipster does not provide invoices, receipts or official earnings documents. You can see your withdrawals and payouts in the transactions list on [My Balance](https://app.clipster.gg/earnings). ## Common problems ### The withdraw button is greyed out 1. Check that your balance is at least $50. Pending earnings don't count until the campaign ends and is paid out. 2. If all of this is fine, open a support ticket. ### Redemption email not received (PayPal, Visa, Amazon) 1. Check that the email you entered in the withdrawal was correct. 2. Look for the redemption email in every folder, or search for your reference code. The money only arrives after you redeem it. 3. If your status shows "Paid out" and no email has arrived after 3 business days, open a ticket with your Clipster username and campaign name. ### USDT not received If it has not arrived after 1 hour, open a ticket with a screenshot of your Clipster balance and the wallet address you used. ### Bank transfer not received Bank transfers are usually instant, but may take up to a few business days. If the payment has not arrived after that, open a ticket with your Clipster username, withdrawal amount, and reference code. ### How does Invite & Earn work? Share your referral link with new creators. When they earn on Clipster, you get 10% of their earnings, up to \$100 per creator you refer. There is no limit on how many people you can refer. ## Where to find your link - **On the website:** **Invite & Earn** in the top menu. - **In the app:** **Profile** → **Referrals**. Copy your link and share it with creators who don't have a Clipster account yet. ## How the bonus works - You get **10% of what your referred creator earns**, up to **\$100 per person**. - The bonus is added when their campaigns are paid out and their submissions are confirmed as eligible. There is a **14-day waiting period** before referral earnings are added. - Each referral shows how much you've earned so far, for example "\$12 / \$100". - Referral earnings go to a **separate referral balance**, not your campaign balance. ## Withdrawing referral earnings Open your referral dashboard (**Invite & Earn**, or **Profile** → **Referrals** → **Balance** in the app) and click **Withdraw**. The same \$50 minimum and 5% fee apply as for normal withdrawals. See [How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees?](../earnings-and-payouts/how-do-i-withdraw-my-earnings-and-what-are-the-fees). ## Rules - People who already have a Clipster account can't be referred. - Creating extra Clipster accounts to refer yourself is not allowed. - Don't share your referral link on Clipster platforms or Clipster Discord servers. - Referral codes are tracked. Abuse can lead to suspension and loss of all earnings. ## My friend isn't in my referral list A referred creator shows up once they sign up through your link and finish creating their account. The most common reasons they don't: - They didn't sign up through your link. - They didn't finish creating their account. - They already had a Clipster account. ## I'm getting less than 10% - The bonus stops at \$100 per referred creator. - It is only added once their campaigns are paid out and the 14-day waiting period has passed. - Earnings from social media accounts that were linked to another Clipster account before don't count towards your bonus. ### What are ranks, and what perks do I get? Your rank goes up as your lifetime earnings on Clipster grow, from Bronze at \$100 to Clipster at \$100,000. Each rank unlocks perks, such as a Discord role, priority support, a higher submission limit or a physical plaque. You claim them in the Rewards section of the app. ## How ranks work - Your rank is based on your **lifetime earnings** across all campaigns. Money you already withdrew still counts. - Ranks only go up. You can't lose a rank. - Until your first earnings land in your balance, you are **Unranked**. ## Ranks and perks | Rank | Lifetime earnings | Perks | | --- | --- | --- | | Bronze | \$100 | Custom Discord role, rank badge in the app | | Silver | \$500 | Silver Discord role, badge upgrade | | Gold | \$1,000 | Gold Discord role, badge upgrade, **priority support queue** | | Platinum | \$2,000 | Platinum Discord role, badge upgrade, **exclusive / VIP campaign access**, **25% higher submission limit** | | Diamond | \$5,000 | Diamond Discord role, badge upgrade, **50% higher submission limit**, **total views count** (see below) | | Elite | \$10,000 | Elite Discord role, badge upgrade, **Silver Plaque** shipped to your door | | Master | \$20,000 | Master Discord role, badge upgrade, **2x submission limit**, invitation to a private Discord channel with the Clipster team | | Grandmaster | \$50,000 | Grandmaster Discord role, badge upgrade, **3x submission limit**, custom Clipster hoodie | | Clipster | \$100,000 | Clipster Discord role, badge upgrade, **Gold Plaque** shipped to your door | ## Claiming your perks In the Clipster app, go to **Balance** and open **Earn rewards** ("See what's unlocked at your current tier"). When you reach a rank, tap **Claim reward**. Perks such as the higher submission limit and total views count only apply after you claim them. The Rewards section is still rolling out, so you may not see it yet. ## Perks explained ### Higher submission limit The limit you get is the highest one you claimed. It applies to a campaign's submission limits. For example, with the Platinum perk the usual 200 posts per campaign becomes 250. See [How do I submit a clip, and what counts as a valid post?](../submissions-and-views/how-do-i-submit-a-clip-and-what-counts-as-a-valid-post). ### Total views count (Diamond) Normally only views your post gains after you submit it count towards earnings. With this perk, the views your post already had when you submitted it count too. You still need to submit within 24 hours of posting. ### Priority support queue (Gold) Your support tickets are handled faster. See [How do I contact support?](../help-and-support/how-do-i-contact-support). ### Plaques The Silver Plaque (Elite), Gold Plaque (Clipster) and the custom hoodie (Grandmaster) are physical rewards. They are listed under **Physical rewards** in the Rewards section. 1. When you reach the rank, tap **Claim reward**. The reward shows **Reward claimed**. 2. Someone from the Clipster team will get in touch with you to arrange the delivery. 3. Once it ships, the reward shows **On its way to you**. The name engraved on a plaque is your Clipster username. Haven't heard from us after claiming? Open a support ticket. ## My rank or perk hasn't updated Rank updates may not be instant. If it still hasn't updated, open a support ticket with your Clipster username, your approximate lifetime earnings and the rank you expect. ## Help and support ### Something isn't working. What can I try? Most problems are fixed by updating the app, restarting it, or trying the website in another browser. Below are quick fixes for the most common problems with logging in, the app, submitting, linking accounts and Discord. ## I can't log in Clipster has **no passwords**. You log in with a code sent to your email, or with Google, Apple or Discord. 1. Enter your email and tap **Get Code**. 2. Enter the **Verification Code** from the email. 3. No email? Wait a minute and check your spam and junk folders. When the timer ("Resend in…") runs out, tap **Send code again**. 4. If you usually log in with Google, Apple or Discord, use the same method again. If you see a suspension message, see [Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-account-suspended-and-can-i-appeal). ## The app is slow, stuck or crashing If you see "This is taking longer than usual": 1. **Check your internet connection**, then tap **Try again**. 2. **Check for app updates** in the App Store or Play Store. 3. **Force close and reopen** the app. 4. **Reinstall the app.** You won't lose your account or clips. Just reinstall and log back in. "**Update required**" means your version is no longer supported. Tap **Update now** to keep using the app. You can always use the website on [app.clipster.gg](https://app.clipster.gg/discover) while the app is not working. ## The website isn't loading 1. Hard refresh the page (Ctrl+F5, or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). 2. Clear your browser cache and cookies for [clipster.gg](http://clipster.gg), or try a private window. 3. Turn off browser extensions for a moment. 4. Try another browser. Chrome, Edge and Safari work best. ## "Too many requests" You made a lot of requests in a short time. Wait a moment and try again. ## I can't submit a post - **"Submissions are closed for this campaign."** The campaign is not taking new posts. - **"Accounts Eligibility"** screen: one of your accounts can't submit yet. Use the button shown (**Link Account**, **Verify** or **Reconnect**). - **Link not accepted:** use the direct post link, not your profile. Remove tracking parameters. Make sure the post and account are public. - **Post not found:** very new posts may need 5–10 minutes. - Other messages are explained in [Why was my clip rejected?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-clip-rejected). ## I can't link an account - You can link TikTok, Instagram and YouTube directly. New X accounts can't be linked at the moment. - Allow pop-ups and cookies in your browser, then try again. - Make sure you sign in to the right social media account, and that it is public. - **Error code 422:** try linking on the website instead of the app. - **"Account already linked"** or anything else: see [How do I set up my account and link my socials?](../getting-started/how-do-i-set-up-my-account-and-link-my-socials). ## My views aren't updating - Views update every few hours, and only while the campaign is running. - **"Couldn't refresh this post yet"** is temporary. Clipster tries again automatically. - **"Post unavailable"** means the post may be deleted, private or restricted. See [What happens if my post is deleted, removed or goes offline?](../submissions-and-views/what-happens-if-my-post-is-deleted-removed-or-goes-offline). - For why eligible views can be lower than your real views, see [How do I submit a clip, and what counts as a valid post?](../submissions-and-views/how-do-i-submit-a-clip-and-what-counts-as-a-valid-post). ## My withdrawal failed If you see "An error occurred during the transfer initialization. Please contact support.", open a support ticket. If a withdrawal fails, the amount goes back to your balance. See [How do I withdraw my earnings, and what are the fees?](../earnings-and-payouts/how-do-i-withdraw-my-earnings-and-what-are-the-fees). ## Discord commands or bot DMs don't work - Use commands in the right server and channel. The format is `/submit `. - Check you have the right server roles, then try again after a few minutes. - Not getting DMs from the Clipster Bot? Allow DMs from server members (User Settings → Privacy & Safety), check your message requests, and make sure the bot is not blocked. - Your Discord must be connected in **Login Methods**. See [How do I set up my account and link my socials?](../getting-started/how-do-i-set-up-my-account-and-link-my-socials). ## Still not working? Open a support ticket in the **Technical** category. Add: - a screenshot or screen recording of the problem - whether it happens on the website or in the app, and on which device - what you already tried ### How do I contact support? Open a support ticket in the support channel of the Clipster Discord. Your Discord account must be linked to your Clipster account first. Most tickets are answered within 24 hours. ## Before you open a ticket Many problems are fixed by these steps: - Clear your browser cache and cookies, or try a private window. - Try another browser (Chrome, Edge or Safari) or turn off browser extensions. - Update the app, or close and reopen it. You can also use the website instead. - Check that your account and posts are public. - Stats not updating? Open the submission in **My Activity** → **Submissions** and check when it refreshes next. Views only update while the campaign is running. For more fixes, see [Something isn't working. What can I try?](../help-and-support/something-isnt-working-what-can-i-try). Also check the help centre article for your topic. ## How to open a ticket 1. Connect your Discord in **Settings** → **Login Methods** (in the app: **Profile** → **Login methods**). Without it, you cannot open a ticket. 2. Join the Clipster support Discord: [discord.gg/jANSrfvg2x](https://discord.gg/jANSrfvg2x) (also in the app under **Help** → **Support**). Go to the support channel. 3. Choose a category: - **General:** account questions, feature requests - **Technical:** upload problems, app not loading, bugs, account issues - **Content:** campaign requirements, content guidelines - **Payment:** missing payment, wrong amount, payout delay - **Appeals:** a rejected submission or a suspended account 4. Fill in the form. For technical issues, add a screenshot or screen recording of the problem. ### What to include - Your Clipster username - The post link and campaign name, if it is about a post - What you were trying to do and what went wrong - Any error message (a screenshot helps) - What you already tried ## After you open a ticket - Our AI assistant answers first. If your case needs a person, it is passed to the support team. - You can have **one open ticket** at a time. Close it before you open a new one. - **Do not send extra messages** while you wait. Each new message moves you to the back of the queue. - **Do not ping team members.** Pinging staff directly gets you a temporary timeout on Discord. ## Priority support Priority support is a **Gold rank** perk (\$1,000 lifetime earnings). Your tickets are handled faster. The support panel in Discord shows the current requirement. See [What are ranks, and what perks do I get?](../earnings-and-payouts/what-are-ranks-and-what-perks-do-i-get). ## Not getting DMs from the Clipster Bot 1. Check your Discord is connected in **Settings** → **Login Methods**. 2. Check you are on the right Discord account. 3. Allow DMs from server members (User Settings → Privacy & Safety). 4. Check your message requests, and that the bot is not blocked. ## Can't chat in the Discord? General chat needs at least **\$1 in earnings**. After you reach \$1, the chat role is added automatically. This can take up to one hour. General chat is not available on every Clipster server. ## Reporting another creator You can report someone for stealing your clips or for suspected viewbotting. Open a ticket and add screenshots, their Clipster username, and links to the original and copied posts. The team reviews every report. The actions taken may not be shared with you. ## Becoming a Community Helper or joining the team - **Community Helper:** read the requirements on the [Community Helper Program page](https://app.notion.com/p/2814a057b8c9803e96c8db24d5aa0eda). If you meet them, open a support ticket. - **Jobs:** see open roles in the Jobs section on [clipster.gg](https://www.clipster.gg/). Follow up on an application by email. Support can't see application status. ## Other ways to reach us - **No Discord?** Use the [Contact Us](https://www.clipster.gg/contact-us) form and choose "I need help with something". Add your Clipster username and email. - **Suspended account:** use the Suspended Account appeal. See [Why was my account suspended, and can I appeal?](../reviews-appeals-and-suspensions/why-was-my-account-suspended-and-can-i-appeal).
